Carl Hueber's practice is focused on civil trial work, criminal defense and appeals. He has received an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.

Commercial Litigation
Carl represents clients in cases involving breach of contract, construction disputes, business disputes, negligence, employment issues, and land use issues.

Criminal Defense
Carl joins Richard Cease and Kevin Curtis to form Spokane's most experienced and respected criminal defense team. He handles cases in federal and state court with extensive experience in white collar cases and criminal appeals.

Appeals
Carl handles appeals in state and federal courts. He has argued 11 cases before the Washington Supreme Court and regularly appears before the Washington State Court of Appeals. Carl was the Chair of the Appellate Liaison Committee of the Spokane County Bar Association from 1987 to 1999.

A Principal in the firm, Carl joined Winston & Cashatt in 1986. After graduating from Gonzaga University School of Law, Carl was a judicial law clerk to Judge Ben McInturff at the Washington State Court of Appeals. He was also a trial lawyer with the Spokane County Public Defender's Office. He has taught business law, criminal procedure, and legal writing at Gonzaga University and Gonzaga School of Law. He is a frequent seminar speaker.
