Casey Lund's practice involves civil litigation with a primary focus on construction, transportation, real estate, contracts, land use and zoning law. Casey represents clients ranging from homeowners, suppliers, subcontractors, general contractors, project owners and project lenders.
Casey grew up in Spokane and returned to the area after obtaining a Biology degree from Northwest Nazarene University in Nampa, ID. Casey obtained his JD from Gonzaga School of Law in 2001. After law school, Casey worked for a government transportation supplier prior to coming to Winston & Cashatt in March 2010.
In his previous position, Casey was involved in contract renewals, contract service changes, contract bidding, budgeting, equipment purchasing and maintaining banking relationships. The majority of the contracted work fell under the Service Contract Act, so he is familiar with obligations of employers, and rights of employees, when dealing with federal contracts. Casey was responsible for DOT compliance and administering the company’s DOT drug and alcohol program. Casey was also responsible for safety and risk management within the company.
Casey volunteers coaching soccer with Spokane Junior Soccer, and served as manager of his son’s SAYHA hockey team. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and four children in various activities.
