Collette Leland's practice focuses on commercial litigation, employment law, and criminal defense.
Before coming to Winston & Cashatt, Collette served as a judicial law clerk to Washington Supreme Court Justice Mary E. Fairhurst and as a deputy prosecuting attorney for Spokane County. Collette also served as a law clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Washington, where she appeared regularly in federal court.
As a law student at Gonzaga University School of Law, Collette’s studies focused on intellectual property. She competed in the International Trademark Association’s Saul Lefkowitz Moot Competition, where her team’s appellate brief placed second in the nation. She has also conducted extensive research in trade secret and copyright law.
